The Teen & Tween Program at Family Membership Beach
TWEEN PROGRAM
For youths entering Grade 6 or 7
Session 1: June 23 – July 3 (CLOSED - sorry)
Session 4: August 4 – August 15 (CLOSED - wait list available only)
TEEN PROGRAM
For teens entering Grade 7 or 8
Session 2: July 7 – July 18 ( CLOSED - wait list available only)
Session 3: July 21 – August 1 (CLOSED - wait list available only)
The teen and tween program is aimed at developing leadership skills, helping younger children, meeting new friends, doing something rewarding for the summer, and in the process having a lot of fun.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The group will meet every day at 9:30 a.m. They will have their headquarters in the volleyball area. Each day they must bring a swimsuit, towel, sneakers, a bagged lunch and drinks. In the mornings the groups will volunteer on the beach at either 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. Afternoon schedule includes:
1 p.m. Boating
2 p.m. Arts and Crafts/Games
3 p.m. Ropes/Group Initiatives on Tuesday and Thursday - Nature Explorers on Monday and Wednesday
Volunteer areas:
Swimming, arts & crafts, babysitting, playing games with younger children. Fridays will be kept free to explore Hale and organize events for the beach.
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (4 spaces available)
For teens entering Grade 9 Session 2: July 7 – July 18
The High School Program is offered to 10 member’s children and friends only. The program will be similar to the Teen Program.
HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (members only)
Two high school children will be hired each session to work directly with the Teen and Tween Program. They will shadow the Teen Supervisor and help design, develop and implement the program. They will get to know the teens/tweens and experience what it takes to lead a group.

To register for any of these programs, simply download the applicable forms from the Forms Page.
Click here to view all registration forms for Membership Beach. Members will pay $75.00 for the two week program. If the child does not attend or cancels after June 1, the fee is non-refundable. Registration is limited to 20. Teens or Tweens who are not members may join the program if space permits after June 1. Members are given preference up to June 2. The cost for Non-Members will be $225.00 per session. All the health forms have to be at the beach by day one of the program.
The Teen/Tween/HighSchool Program complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the Westwood Board of Health.
