Boating Lessons at Family Membership Beach

Boating Lesson Information

Sailing lessons are in great demand. Numbers unfortunately are restricted by the availability of boats.

Sailing Lessons: Class Size varies 4 - 12.  Each instructor takes 4 children only. The child must be at least 8 years old and be in swimming Level 5 or above. Two or more sessions are recommended. A commitment to classes is required. A swim test is required to take part in the class - swim 100 yards crawl and tread water for 4 minutes.

Boating Adventures: Class Size varies 12 - 15.

Children will learn to row, canoe and kayak while exploring Noanet Pond. No sign-ups required.

Adult Sailing Lessons: Dates will be published closer to the time. Classes are offered specific weekdays at 5 p.m. and on Saturday mornings.

Kayaking: This is not a formal class, but rather a time for children to learn to use the kayaks and play games with supervision. No sign-ups are required, and help will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
