All public programs meet at the Trading Post unless otherwise noted. Please dress weather appropriate, proper footwear recommended.
Owls Eve
Wednesday, January 25, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Learn whoooo lives at Hale at night! Join us for a slide show and hike in search of these elusive night predators. We will listen and look for Great Horned, Screech and Barred owls, all likely Hale residents. Pre-registration is required by January 23. Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Family Moonlight Animal Tracking
Tuesday February 7, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
A Hale naturalist will share tips on animal track identification and lead a full moon lit walk to discover traces of Hale's wildlife. Pre-registration is required by February 3. Cost: Free
Sweetheart Snowshoe
Tuesday, February 14, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Share a Valentine's Day snowshoe trek along the trails and pond edge with your sweetie, then enjoy some sweets as you cozy up to the fire. Pre-registration is required by February 10. Weather permitting. Cost: $5 per couple, with snowshoe rental add $6 per person
February Vacation Program
Tuesday - Thursday, February 21, 22 & 23, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Children in grades 1 - 6 can sign up for winter adventure at Hale. Each day will feature different activities, games and outdoor exploration. Animal tracking, winter survival skills, and snowshoeing are all part of the fun! To learn more view the February Vacation Program flyer. Pre-registration is required by February 17. Cost: $75 per day, $200 for 3 days

Family Snowshoe Adventure
Friday, February 24, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This family-friendly snowshoe program will introduce you to the trails at Hale and the fun of snowshoeing. Great chance to try something new! Snowshoes are available for rent for this program in limited numbers. Pre-registration is required by February 22. Weather permitting. Cost: Free with your own snowshoes, $6 per person with snowshoe rental.
